Liberation de Paris

How Libération de Paris Came to Be

Libération de Paris was born out of a remarkable friendship between two families, the Delaunay and the Bonneté, who first met at a fundraising event in Houston in 2014. Nathalie and Jean-François Bonneté organized this significant event in collaboration with Spec’s, a prominent Texas wine and spirits retailer, and a leading French foundation dedicated to supporting children and adults with Down syndrome.

Among the delegation from France that came to support the event was Laurent Delaunay, the supplier of the exquisite Grand Cru wines from Burgundy that were to be auctioned. Upon meeting, Laurent and Jean-François quickly formed a deep connection, discovering a shared vision for wine, winemaking, and the evolution of French wines in the U.S. market. Their mutual passion and aligned aspirations inspired both couples to join forces and work toward a common goal.

The result of this collaboration and friendship between the Delaunay and Bonneté families is Libération de Paris, a range of wines that reflects their shared vision and dedication to excellence.
