The estate cultivates several hectares of Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru, and Bourgogne Pinot Noir, showcasing the unique characteristics of this exceptional wine region.
Domaine de la Motte is also the story of the Michaut family, who have been crafting exceptional Chablis wines since 1960. Over three generations, the family has captured the essence of the Kimmeridgian and Portlandian terroirs in perfect harmony with the Chardonnay grape variety.
Today, Adrien Michaut leads the estate, which now encompasses 53 hectares of vines. With dedication and passion, Adrien works tirelessly to craft wines that reflect the Domaine's spirit: pure, dynamic, and authentic, offering a sensory journey into the heart of Chablis.
